Election Passport Renewal

To All Lebanese Registered to Vote in Canada

If you are registered to vote in Canada for the upcoming parliamentary elections on May 8, 2022 you must be in possession of:

Lebanese ID card (plastic)
OR
Valid Lebanese passport biometric or blue Navy)

If you hold an expired Lebanese passport biometric or blue navy (issued since
2003) you can renew it to cast your vote only: “Strictly for Voting”

Conditions for renewal

      • The applicant name must be registered on the electoral list
      • Renewal is done in person or by mail (with a return Express Post envelope with the full address and contact number for the return of the original documents) at the Embassy of Lebanon in Ottawa, at the General Consulate in Montreal and at the Lebanese Honorary Consulates across Canada (Halifax, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver)
      • The expired passport (biometric or navy blue)
Renewal Fee: CAD 12.00 in Cash or money order

N.B.

      • We Urge All interested applicants to renew their passports before May 8, 2022.
      • Burgundy Passport cannot be renewed.
